THE CHAPTER COLLECTIVE
By Keep It Calm Events
Thoughtfully Planned. Uniquely Yours.
An Exclusive Full-Service Wedding Planning Experience
One Wedding Per Month | Up to 18 Months of Planning | A Personally Curated Experience
Your Wedding. Your Vision. Your Chapter.
Your wedding should be a reflection of who you are as a couple. Not a checklist of traditions, a collection of current trends, or someone else's idea of the perfect wedding.
At The Chapter Collective, we believe the most meaningful celebrations are found in the little details. The family traditions, the inside jokes, the personal touches, and the unexpected moments that make your relationship uniquely yours.
After more than a decade of planning and coordinating weddings through Keep It Calm Events, we're introducing a more intentional approach to wedding planning.
The Chapter Collective accepts just one full-service wedding per calendar month, giving each couple a personalized experience with Hope as their dedicated planner and wedding-day BFF.
From the first conversation to the final dance, you'll work directly with Hope to bring your vision to life, supported by a team of professionals personally selected for your celebration.
We aren't here to create our version of your dream wedding.
We're here to help you create yours.
Chapter One: Getting to Know Your Story
Discovery, Vision & Initial Planning
Before we start choosing vendors, selecting colors, or building timelines, we want to get to know you.
Your planning experience begins with thoughtful conversations and personalized questionnaires designed to help us understand your relationship, personalities, priorities, and wedding vision.
Together, we'll:
Complete detailed planning questionnaires to explore your individual and shared priorities.
Discuss your wedding vision, personal style, and desired atmosphere.
Identify your must-haves, non-negotiables, and the traditions you'd prefer to skip.
Explore meaningful details that reflect your personalities and relationship.
Establish a realistic overall wedding budget.
Determine which elements of your celebration are most important to you and where you want to prioritize spending.
Develop a customized planning roadmap and timeline.
Begin creating your personalized Chapter planning book.
Our goal: To understand not just what you want your wedding to look like, but how you want it to feel.
Chapter Two: Building Your Collective
Vendor Research, Selection & Budget Management
We believe your vendors should be selected based on what matters to you—not simply because they're on a preferred vendor list.
We'll work together to determine your priorities for each vendor category, from photography and entertainment to catering, florals, and everything in between.
Your planning experience includes:
Comprehensive wedding budget development and ongoing tracking.
Personalized vendor research based on your style, priorities, location, and budget.
Hand-selected recommendations from trusted industry professionals and researched providers.
Assistance requesting proposals, reviewing pricing, and comparing services.
Coordinating vendor consultations and helping you prepare important questions.
Professional guidance throughout the vendor selection process.
Assistance reviewing vendor proposals and contractual logistics.
Tracking vendor bookings, payment schedules, and important deadlines.
Ongoing vendor communication and coordination throughout planning.
Identifying opportunities to maximize your budget while protecting the elements most important to you.
Whether your priority is an incredible photographer, unforgettable food, a packed dance floor, or a meaningful ceremony, we'll help you find professionals who understand your vision.
Our goal: To build a team around your wedding rather than making your wedding fit a predetermined team.
Third-party vendor services, contracts, and fees are separate from your planning investment unless specifically stated otherwise.
Chapter Three: Bringing Your Vision to Life
Design, Details & Personalization
This is where your wedding begins to take shape.
We'll collaborate on the visual elements, personal details, and overall guest experience to create a celebration that genuinely reflects who you are.
Services include:
Personalized inspiration boards and design guidance.
Color palette and overall wedding aesthetic development.
Ceremony and reception layout planning.
Tablescape, centerpiece, and decorative element guidance.
Rental planning for furniture, linens, tabletop pieces, and specialty items.
Assistance planning invitations, signage, menus, seating charts, programs, and other printed pieces.
Guidance incorporating family traditions, memorials, personal stories, and meaningful touches.
Guest experience and hospitality planning.
Menu and beverage planning alongside your selected vendors.
Assistance with favors, welcome gifts, and special surprises.
Coordination of design details with your venue and vendor team.
We love a beautiful wedding, but we love a wedding that feels personal even more.
Our goal: To create a celebration where every meaningful detail has a purpose and your guests can see your personalities throughout the day.
Chapter Four: The Planning Journey

The Final 90 Days
As your wedding approaches, we'll shift our focus toward finalizing the details and preparing for a smooth wedding-day experience.
This includes:
Developing your detailed wedding-day timeline.
Confirming vendor arrival, setup, service, and departure schedules.
Finalizing ceremony details and processional arrangements.
Reviewing floor plans, layouts, and venue logistics.
Confirming rental quantities, deliveries, and décor placement.
Reviewing guest counts, seating arrangements, and meal requirements.
Coordinating final vendor details and responsibilities.
Preparing contingency plans for weather or logistical changes.
Conducting final planning meetings and vendor confirmations.
Preparing the complete wedding-day production plan.
Finalizing wedding-day staffing requirements and responsibilities.
Our goal: By the time your wedding arrives, you can focus on the excitement of getting married instead of managing the details.
Chapter Five: Your Wedding Day
Personally Planned. Professionally Managed. Entirely Yours.
After months of planning, your wedding day should be about celebrating—not answering vendor questions, managing schedules, or worrying about what's happening behind the scenes.
Your Chapter Collective experience includes a dedicated wedding-day team consisting of Hope as your lead planner and a personal bridal assistant.
Your Lead Wedding Planner — Hope
As your dedicated planner, Hope will personally oversee the planning and execution of your wedding celebration.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and overseeing the complete wedding-day production plan.
Coordinating vendor arrivals, deliveries, and event logistics.
Directing the wedding-day team and managing vendor communication.
Overseeing ceremony and reception preparations.
Coordinating important transitions and timeline milestones.
Ensuring personal details, traditions, and special moments are carried out as planned.
Troubleshooting unexpected situations and managing logistical adjustments.
Delegating responsibilities to trusted team members to ensure seamless event coverage.
Hope's on-site schedule is customized to the needs of your individual wedding rather than limited to a predetermined number of hours.
Some weddings require earlier involvement, while others allow for responsibilities to be transitioned to a designated team member later in the evening.
Regardless of the schedule, your celebration will have a clear management plan and a designated point of contact throughout the event.
Your Personal Bridal Assistant
Included in Your Planning Experience
Every Chapter Collective wedding includes a dedicated personal bridal assistant to provide additional support and attention throughout your wedding day.
Your bridal assistant will also attend your scheduled wedding rehearsal to meet the bridal party, become familiar with the ceremony, and establish a relationship with the people they'll be assisting.
Wedding-Day Coverage
Your bridal assistant begins when professional hair and makeup services are scheduled to conclude and remains through the end of the wedding evening.
Coverage typically ranges from 8–10 hours, depending on your wedding-day itinerary, with the final schedule confirmed during timeline planning.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with wedding attire, accessories, and personal belongings.
Helping with dress adjustments, veil placement, and bustling.
Keeping the bride informed of upcoming moments and transitions.
Helping coordinate movement between getting-ready spaces, portraits, ceremony, and reception.
Assisting the bridal party with logistical questions.
Communicating personal requests to the planning and vendor teams.
Keeping important belongings and wedding-day essentials organized.
Providing personal support and assistance throughout the celebration.
Maintaining communication with Hope and the wedding-day team.
Your bridal assistant is there to help make sure you feel supported, comfortable, and able to enjoy every moment.
Additional Event Staffing
Every wedding has different logistical needs.
Some celebrations require additional team members for décor setup, breakdown, room transitions, guest management, or other event-specific responsibilities.
Rather than automatically including a large event team in every package, we customize staffing based on what your celebration actually requires.
Additional team members are billed at an hourly rate based on the staffing needed.
Staffing needs, responsibilities, and estimated hours will be reviewed and finalized 30 days before your wedding.
A detailed staffing breakdown and cost will be provided for your approval.
Payment for approved additional staffing is due 14 days before your wedding date.
This allows us to build the right team for your celebration without charging you for unnecessary staffing.
Wedding-Day Communication & Coordination
Communication is one of the most important parts of a successful wedding day.
Our team will maintain ongoing communication with one another and the appropriate vendors throughout your celebration.
This includes:
A shared wedding-day timeline and production plan.
Clearly assigned responsibilities for each team member.
Direct communication between Hope, your bridal assistant, and additional event staff.
Coordination with the venue, photographer, entertainment, catering, and other vendors.
Managing schedule adjustments and transitions as needed.
Discreetly handling unexpected situations without unnecessarily involving the couple.
Providing a designated point of contact throughout the event.
If responsibilities transition from Hope to another team member, that person will have the necessary details, vendor contacts, and instructions to continue managing the celebration.
Our promise is simple: You enjoy your wedding. We take care of the details.
The Final Chapter: Beautifully Lived
Preserving Your Story
Every wedding we plan becomes part of something bigger.
Throughout your planning experience, we'll create a personalized book documenting your vision, inspiration, planning journey, meaningful details, and the decisions that brought your celebration to life.
After your wedding, your story will take its place in The Chapter Collection, our growing library of celebrations we've had the privilege of creating.
With your permission, selected photographs and memories will help complete your chapter, while personal financial and contractual information remains confidential.
Because your wedding isn't just another event on our calendar.
It's a chapter we're honored to be part of.
